What is the point of giving a service if you cant handle it! You will say the same after reading my story.
I must say that from the day one the service has been unsatisfactory. I mean if you cant provide good service just quit. First of all i have to make several calls to get the operator online and when I tell the first 4 didits of my credit card, for internet transaction activation> they go to sleep for 2 minutes. And I have herd this sentence so many times "sorry sir the servers are busy, could you please call after half an hour" and after this time the answer remains the same.
Also to get the air time, it has been many times that I was in a difficult situation and needed to make important call, so i called Bank Alfalah to give me air time from my credit card, I had taken 15 rupees load to make this call, and beleive me they kept me waiting for so long that the 15 Rs. loan was over and i am thinking i should have searched for a PCO instead.
Please note that i have been giving feedback on the website, but never even got feedback ack email, so there is no point in writing on the feedback form.
I am not a person who will get worked up easily, I am calm and tolerant. I understand the position of other person. But what happened to me this time is beyond acceptable. I had made a new e-commerce store and needed to set my merchant account. When I received a new credit card at my door out of blue. On telephonic inquiry it was reveled that the bank is installing new servers to improve the service. I was glad that finally they have noticed the problems. But they said that I could use my old credit card till 8th Sept and activate the new card on 8th. As said earlier i wanted to have a merchant account for my store so now i had to wait for 2 weeks to have my new credit card active. And they said that I could not use my new card before 8th, it was hard on me, but I understood the situation and wasted 2 weeks.
I gave them some more time and called on 10th sept to activate my new card, but they said that all the data from old card has not yet been transfered to the new account and you will have to wait at least a week more after which you could activate new card.
The current situation is this THEY HAVE BLOCKED MY OLD CARD AND HAVE NOT COMMISSIONED THE NEW ONE. so I cant even create a merchant account and request to change my card no. later on. Currently I am with no credit card, and i am a frequent customer who almost always pays add the dues in time.
So seriously after two years of poor and pathetic service I recommend to every one that please look for some other service provider and not BANK ALFALAH for credit card.
